Hawaii Day 1 - Arrival

Our very much anticipated Hawaii trip finally arrived! We arrived into Hawaii on Sunday, January 16th evening. The 6 hour flight passed by quickly. Jasmine had her own seat on the airplane and we brought her own car seat onto the plane (so that she would be used to sitting in it) she sat happily in it while surfing on Richard's iPhone. That was a super good decision, to bring her car seat onto the plane.

Julia was really good too. She didn't cry at all on the flight. Even fellow passengers commented how good the kiddies were (there were other kiddies on the flight who were not as cooperative).

Getting into the airport, picking up our luggage and grabbing our minivan went smoothly (although we had to cram all of our stuff into the vehicle). Because we have 6 people on the trip, there was alot of luggage, not to mention all the kids stuff. It took about 30 minutes to drive from the airport to our rental house. Thanks the our handy GPS, we found our way easily.

We picked up dinner at McDonalds (we were so hungry and tired, we just needed to eat something) and then went straight to the house. After unloading all the gear, everyone took showers and went to bed, prepping for the next day's fun.
