We almost missed the flight out. Julia woke up at 5am with a massive nose bleed and our flight was at 8:40am. The blood kept gushing out from both sides. I was thinking of heading to Emergency if it didn't stop bleeding. 2 hours later, it finally stopped. We made the flight, phewf. I have a feeling the bleeding nose is a side effect from the antibiotics she was taking for her ear infection.
At LA airport, we picked up the rental car for the week. Everything was going fine, did the papers, threw all the luggage into trunk, buckled the car seats in, kids got in, looked for all the dings and dents and then...where are the keys? Craps. No keys! So we had to do more paper work, transfer the luggage, buckle the kids in, marked off all the dings and then off we go.
It was already 3pm and we hadn't eaten lunch yet. Went to In and Out burger joint, since we heard it was good. Huge line up. Was ok. They promote their fresh beef, never been frozen and the fresh fries cut each day. So we all had burgers and fries but something in it made Jas' mouth flare up bad. Her mouth and lips started to swell...scary. We gave her Benadryl right away and I had the epipen by my side. It subsided luckily but man, what's in that burger?
We got to the hotel around 6pm and just dropped everything off and headed to downtown Disney. After that, everything was fine. What a day!
