Happy Birthday Tweet*!

We celebrated Rich's bday today with a fresh fruit cake.  It was a busy Sunday (went to another child's bday party) so we couldn't cut the cake til after the kids took their evening showers...don't mind their PJs.  The kids were so happy because they get to eat 2 cakes today!  Happy birthday Tweet.

17 Months - Josh - Allergist Appt

Little Josh just turned 17 months and he is happily walking, running, climbing and playing with everything in sight.  He really likes the new toys we keep opening up (we like to stagger opening up all the new toys from xmas).  In the background is a new race car track set.

He finally met with the allergist specialist this week.  Not to our surprise, we found out that he is severely allergic to dairy!  I've always known that his body didn't like dairy products, since he got hives the very first time we fed him baby cereal that had milk in it.  But now it's confirmed.  He is anaphylactic to it so has to have an epipen with him at all times.  Both girls have epipens for peanut allergy but this time, it's harder since milk is in pretty much everything.  We have to really pay attention to the foods we give him.

Poor Daidai, no cake, ice cream or chocolates for him.

Tweet's First Painting

Rich and I finally went on a date, to a Paint Nite session together.  Rich was never an artsy type of person and didn't even want to come with me to do this.  But since I gave this paint session to him as an early bday gift, he had to go...LOL.  As it turns out, he's great at it!  His painting looks even better than mine.  He even "fixed up" my leaves.

It's so nice to hang out without the kiddies around our legs.  We need more of these nights...hee hee.  Til next time!

Playdate with A and K

Today, the Tang family came over for a play date.  The kiddies were so excited that morning, always asking when A and K were going to be over.  And when they got here, they had such a great time that it's like I didn't exist.  I tried to take a pic of the kids while they were playing Twister but only the youngest one thought I was of any interest (besides the spoon he was chewing on).

For dinner, I tried out a new lemon chicken recipe...and it didn't quite make the hit list.  And thanks to W, she thought I put black pepper in it but there wasn't any pepper in it at all... (burnt garlic).   That's how good my cooking is...LOL.  Thankfully, the other food turned out ok and the kids ate some.  Looking forward to more playdates soon.

All By Herself - Frozen Puzzle

Julia is so proud today.  She opened up her new Frozen puzzle (thanks Yee Ma and Yee Jerng) and put the entire puzzle together herself.  Here she is, showing it off.

Sick, Sick, Sick - It's Roseola

Happy New Year!

Unfortunately, it's not so happy in the Wong household since both Josh and Julia got sick on New Years day.  Julia's asthma started to act up and had to use her puffer to get through the day.  Josh had fever and was not feeding or sleeping well.  And then when the fever finally broke, he got all these red dots all over his body indicating roseola.  Both Jas and Julia had roseola before so it wasn't new for us.

Hoping they will be back to normal soon.
