Bright Nights on New Years Eve

In Vancouver, one of the things that is a must-do during winter is to see Bright Nights in Stanley Park.  It's a train ride in the park and the entire area is decorated with lots of lights.  It's kinda expensive ($10/adult and $7 for kids) but all proceeds help the Fire Fighter's Burn victims... I think.  So it's for a good cause.  The kids had a good time.

Guess Who Turned 1? Mommy? No...35! (video)

I was referring to the candle on my bday cake.  If only I was only 1 years old... No, today is the big 3-5!  Ughhhhh.  Didn't want a pic but I guess it's a milestone birthday so we took one.  I love how my girls smile...  they need practice.

Leung Wong Xmas party

For the first time, the Leung and Wong family celebrated xmas together. The new house, the new Christmas tree, loving family and tons of food, we had a terrific time.  The Leung family travelled all the way over from Victoria and stayed for a couple of days.  Too bad baby Kyle wasn't feeling well and had to go to bed extra early, so Win and YJ couldn't stay up to party.  But everyone else were in good spirits, chatting and singing.  Thanks for coming over everyone!

Xmas Party at Cheryl and John's

John and Cheryl had their annual xmas party at their house.  There was alot of friends, family and KIDS!  So many kids.  For some reason, it felt like there were 2 times more kids this year than last year, but it's because last year, all the kiddies were infants, sleeping in their car seats in the room.  And this year, all the kids are over 1 and running all over the place.  It was a great party.

Emma's 3rd Birthday party

We celebrated Emma's 3rd birthday party today and had a great time at the gym, jumping in bouncy castle and playing with all the toys.  The theme was Dora!  Kiddies loved it, especially the cake.  Jas and Julia ate an entire piece of cake by themselves.  Thanks for having us!

5 Year Shots!

It's been quite some time since Jas had to get her shots done.  The last time was her 18 month old shots!  But tonight, she had to get her 5-year old shots, which she was not happy about.  I didn't tell her about it until the very, very last minute, just before we left the house.

Jas was whining the entire car ride to the clinic, walking to the clinic, even inside the nurses office.  She kept on saying, "no, I don't need shots here (points to her arm)".  I bribed her with candies and sweets.  But then she realized that she's going to get a shot no matter what, she started screaming at the top of her lungs.  WAH!!!!!!!!

The nurse looked at me and asked, should I just give her the shot anyways?  I nodded.  3 seconds later, I told Jas, "it's all done.  Does it hurt?"  Jas looked at her arm and stopped crying immediately.  Then proceeded eating all the candy I gave her.  It's funny how she can stop crying so fast.

The next set of shots will be in grade 6.  Phewf!

Adyson's 5th Birthday

Today, the kids had a terrific fun time at Adyson's birthday party.  This year, it was at the gymnatics center at UBC.  Wow, it was cool.  We were able to swing on the ropes, swing on the round circle things, jump on the trampoline, rock climbing, parachute games.

Although Jules was too young for it (had to be age 3 or older), she was allowed to join in with parent supervision.  Lucky Mommy and Daddy both wore socks.  Thanks Adyson for inviting us to your party.

Ginger Bread Party

We were invited to a gingerbread party at K's house and there were tons of food and kids there.  The house was packed and kids were playing in every room.  J and J were happy to show off their gingerbread cookies (after eating half the candies off of them of course).

After the kids ate their share of food, they dashed off to play again.  Somehow, Jules found a dragon tail and sword and proceeded to ROAR (scare) everyone away.  She ran around the house, chasing people out of their seats.  It was a funny sight.  Thanks K for inviting us over.
