School Xmas Concert

We watched the 2 girls participate in their school Xmas concert this year.  Each class prepared a performance of songs, skit or dance.  They both stood in front of an audience of around 100 people without being nervous at all.  I'm so proud of both of them.

Congrats to Hermo and Drewsie - Wedding

Congrats to Herman and Drew, on your wedding and your new journey in life together.  Here are some pics from the wedding.  Everyone had a fantabulous time...with what memory we all retain from that evening. Hermo says "Cheers to the open bar!" 

Muimui Passes Level 1 Piano

 Yay, she did it!  Muimui passed Level 1 piano today.  She had a recital today in front of 30 people and she did great.  Didn't miss a beat.  Maybe next time she will play a longer song.  Hope she will keep it up.

Jas' Minecraft Birthday (video)

For Jas' bday this year, she requested for Minecraft items.  She is fully obsessed with this computer game.  Each night, when she finishes all her dinner and homework before 7:30pm, she's allowed to play the computer for 15 minutes and the game she chooses is always Minecraft. She was so happy when she opened her presents and got what she wanted!  Thank you so much Aunties and Uncles.

    

Hanging Out at the Mall

Like most families, we seem to hang out at the malls whenever it gets cold or wet outside.  Here are some random photos we took while cruising by Metrotown or Brentwood.  

Halloween Fun

For Halloween this year, we made cupcakes for school again and went trick or treating around the neighbourhood.  We didn't have much time to decorate the house so we just kinda threw on whatever we had in the box from last year.  We did buy a bunch of skeleton lights for the pathway and yard so it looked kinda cool.

Although we only walked for 1.5 hours, the 3 kids brought home so much candy, that the handle of the bucket that Julia was holding, broke!

After we put the kiddies to bed, we stopped by at Lisa's party which was totally awesome.  Everyone had a blast.

Whistler Weekend and Mining Museum (video)

We drove up to Whistler for a last minute weekend trip.  Thanks to Uncle Jack who invited us over to his cabin, we stayed overnight in a 4-bedroom cabin.  Because of the short trip, we decided not to take Josh with us.  It's only for 1 night and it'll allow us to spend some quality time with the girls.

On the drive up, we stopped at McDs for a bite to eat.  Everything was great until poor Jules fell from the play area and hit her head.

While at Whistler, we visited the pool at the community center, the kids play area in the Village and the mining museum.  We tried to time it so that we'd make it onto the last mining train, but when we arrived, we were told that they are closing early that day.  We couldn't go onto the train ride but were allowed to see the rest of the exhibits.  In the mining area, Jas actually mined 2 flakes of REAL gold!
